I have enjoyed being an artist since my first memory of sitting on my dad’s knee helping him oil paint before I was old enough to talk.
I primarily work in 3-D media. I started out as a production potter and wood craftsman. I have worked in many other types of media through the years but due to space restrictions and my rediscovered love for rocks I now limit my art to primarily to functional lapidary art.
My influences come from many sources ranging from the Native American art of the Pacific Northwest where I grew up to the bold styles of Texas where I worked for five years.
I never cease to be amazed at the beauty created by nature and locked into stone over millions of years. I look forward to sharing some of the amazing things I have found in semi-precious stones and other rocks with you through my artwork.
